Actors’ Equity Election Results Announced

Actors’ Equity Association has announced the results of its elections for eight offices and 17 National Council seats.

Union members elected Nick Wyman for President, Paige Price as First Vice President, Rebecca Kim Jordan as Second Vice President, Ira Mont as Third Vice President, and Sandra Karas as Secretary-Treasurer. Each of these candidates ran uncontested for their respective offices and will serve three-year terms.

    Now that we are SAG/AFTRA how about (after the next round of contract negotiations) we go for SAG/AFTRA/EQUITY!

  2. why did they really cancil the elections ….and ignore alll those concerned members by ignoring them all , less those of a pro merger leaning….all those questions and our union abandoned all with questions comment concerns and ideas for the good of the membership….. can you say couruption and the fix was in…

  3. David is talking about the AFTRA LA elections, which apparently were announced in advanced would only take place if the merger referendum failed –which, of course, it didn’t fail.

  4. So David, since “AFTRA” no longer exists, why have elections for “AFTRA”?

    Same is true of “SAG”. It no longer exists.

    The new union is SAG-AFTRA. The elections for that union will take place.

    Are we clear?
